I walked down the street, feeling great about myself. I knew I looked good. I didn't even bother to look at mens' eyes to confirm that they were checking me out. I knew. No one hit on me all day, but that was because they were intimidated by me and my hotness.
I performed at a couple comedy shows that night and thought, "Everybody must be wondering how such a sizzling, hot lady can be so funny at the same time. That's always so confusing for everyone." Then, as I was about to head home, one friend said, "Your hair is getting long. It works with your mom persona on stage." What? Mom persona? Another friend said, "Oh yeah. That disheveled mom look." Wait. What? Mom look? Disheveled? Another friend said, "You dress like you're Amish." Amish? Like sexy Amish? Another friend said, "You don't dress like that in real life. That's for your single mom character, right? It's obvious."
Uh... Yeah. That's right. Obviously.
